Label rfid laundry
Label RFID UHF Untuk laundry

Environmental Resistance
The tag is built to survive the standard "tunnel washer" and finishing cycle:
* Washing: 90°C for 15 minutes.
* Pre-drying: Up to 180°C for 30 minutes.
* Ironing: 180°C for 10 seconds.
* Sterilization: 135°C for 20 minutes (Autoclave compatible).
* Chemicals: Resistant to all standard industrial laundry detergents and chemicals.
To help you build a complete RFID system around the NXP UCODE 9 tag from your image, here is a guide on selecting compatible readers and how this tag compares to other common options.
------------------------------
Compatible RFID Readers
The EPC Class1 Gen2 (ISO18000-6C) protocol, it is compatible with most standard UHF RFID readers. Since these tags are for laundry, you typically need two types of hardware:
Handheld Readers (For Mobile Inventory) Best for scanning bins of linens or uniforms on racks.
Fixed Readers (For Automated Portals)
Best for "gate" systems where laundry bags pass through a doorway or onto a truck.
The UCODE 9 chip in your tag is one of the most advanced on the market. Here is how it stacks up against its predecessors and competitors:
| Feature | NXP UCODE 9 (Your Tag) | NXP UCODE 8 (Older Gen) | Alien Higgs-3 (Common) |
| Sensitivity | -24 dBm (Excellent) | -23 dBm | -20 dBm (Standard) |
| Read Speed | Very Fast (Optimized for density) | Fast | Standard |
| Best For | Large volumes of laundry | Retail/Supply Chain | Basic Asset Tracking |
| Memory | 96-bit EPC | 128-bit EPC | 96-bit EPC + 512-bit User |
Key Takeaway: The UCODE 9’s high sensitivity (-24 dBm) means it can be read from further away or through more layers of fabric than older chips
Critical Performance Factors
When deploying these tags, keep these environmental factors in mind:
* Liquid Interference: UHF signals (860-960MHz) are absorbed by water. For the best accuracy, scan laundry when it is dry rather than wet.
* Tag Placement: For "sewn-in" tags, ensure they are placed in a consistent location (e.g., the bottom hem) to help the reader find them quickly.
* Bulk Scanning: Because these tags have "anti-collision" technology, a good reader can scan hundreds of them in seconds, even if they are bundled together.
